* To create MP3 ringtones (for RIM BlackBerry 8700 series, 7130, 8100, 8130, 8800), you need to have an MP3 encoder, such as the one shipped with Windows Media Player 10 or 11, installed on your system. Windows Media Player 10 or 11 can be installed on Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Supported BlackBerry Smartphones

MiniRingtone supports BlackBerry smartphones that can play ADPCM ringtones:

BlackBerry 7100g, 7100r, 7100t, 7100v, 7100x, 7105t.

MiniRingtone also supports BlackBerry smartphones that can play MP3 ringtones:

BlackBerry 7130, 7130c, 7130e, 7130g, 7130v, 8100, 8110, 8120, 8130, 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330, 8700c, 8700f, 8700g, 8700r, 8700v, 8707v, 8703e, 8800, 8820, 8830.

Note

The BlackBerry 7100i smartphone is currently not supported as it does not play ADPCM nor MP3 ringtones.
